For this half-day tour is better to choose the start time in the first part of the day. Your tour will start from the pickup location, chosen by you in Tbilisi. Before you will get to Mcketa the first stop place will be the Jvari monastery(VI century).
The monastery is located on the top of a rocky mountain. From the yard of the monastery, there is an amazing view of the city. like on the palm of your hand you can see the confluence of two rivers Mtkvari and Aragvi. One of the most popular place to take memorable pictures. Before the walking tour in the city, you will visit Bebristsikhe castle and Shiomghvime.
Bebristsikhe is a medieval fortress not far from the center. There is a ruins of old walls, but interesting place with different views. What about Shiomghvime is a monastery complex founded by one of the Assyrian fathers Shio. The complex is located at the foot of a cliff and the access road to it runs through the beautiful landscape.
