Juta valley and Chaukhi mountains are one of the best destination for one day tour from Tbilisi. It is a name of small village in Kazbegi municipality. An easy hiking trail runs along the river named “Sno’s Water” in a beautiful valley. It will be good if you take snacks with you to have a picnic near very beautiful small lake with amazing views of Chaukhi mountains. Chaukhi in Georgian means collapsed mountain. By the way to get there you will need to pass a half of same road that continues to Kazbegi. It’s need 3 hours to have a trekking there.
